Questions people actually ask

If I register, will I definitely donate?

No. You are recording a wish. Whether donation happens still depends on the doctors, the moment, and what your family says at the hospital.

Does the software decide who gets an organ?

No. It only shortlists people who might fit. A clinician has to look at every name.

Will my name show on the internet?

No. Public pages do not list donors or patients. Hospital staff see a reference number, a region and an age band.

Can someone sell an organ here?

No. There is no price, no wallet, no marketplace. If someone asks you to pay or be paid, that is not Hopebridge.

Who runs this?

Hopebridge Ghana keeps the registry. Transplant decisions stay with the hospital team.

What phone number should I use?

Ghana numbers, +233 and nine digits. Example: +233241234567.
