About organ donation
In Ghana, donation is a gift. It is not a sale. Hopebridge is only the place you write the intention down.
Families often decide at the hospital, late, under pressure. If you have already told your people, and recorded it, that conversation is less of a fight.
Hopebridge Ghana keeps the national donor-intention registry and helps verified hospitals coordinate cases. It is meant to work with Ghanaian law and with how teaching hospitals actually run. Doctors still confirm consent, eligibility and who receives an organ. We do not sell, price or broker body parts.
What you can do here
- Read, then record which organs you are willing to give.
- Name a next of kin so the hospital has someone to call.
- Let a verified hospital open a case and review possible matches.
- Withdraw later, if you change your mind.
What this site will not do
- Pick a recipient for the surgeon.
- Pay anyone, or let anyone pay, for an organ.
- Put your name on a public list.
- Stand in for a talk with your family or your doctor.
